I have not posted here in a long time because I have not painted much in the past year.  Instead, I have focused my creative energy towards bodywork and energy work.  However, I do see myself making more art again soon.  I have been teaching myself how to sew as a way of harnessing my undying need to create.  One of the reasons why I think I have not wanted to paint in particular is because I have way too many paintings and no where to put them.  So I'm having a big sale this weekend and you are invited.

Marshfield

I drove on down to Marshfield
but I never got to see
the big, blue ocean waiting for me.
I came down to help
but I hadn't got a clue
so I cleaned, and braided and groomed.
And when I was alone
or grazing my grey rose
thinking of you, salt water flowed.
My mother asked me,
"How are you, my dear?"
and I smiled an answer without a great tear.
But the ocean is so very near.
