Allison in Brooklyn

So I went to visit my friends and do some work in NYC and I decided to travel light and not bring a sketch book or a camera. But what did I do the first day I was there? Buy a sketch book! Oh well. I drew my friend Allison a bit:

Then we tried to use a print block she had but we didn't have the right ink, experience, or patience really.

What is this?

Yes, another one...

Heed my warning, David Guerette!

I think that even if you see some paintings that are not very spectacular they can inspire you to at least paint something, well......different.......(ish). I went to an opening that was sort of boring but then I came home and painted a ghoul that looks like me or maybe it was a self portrait that looks like a ghoul. Not sure. The point is: I didn't go home and paint another leafless tree!

I think this commissioned piece is done. I hope the commissioner likes it!

Too many paintings not enough space!

Meow!

I miss this girl...
